N95 masks guard against harmful microorganisms, body fluids, and particulate material. N95 masks are easy to put on and take off, and contain no fiberglass. Thanks to a close facial fit and highly effective filtration system, the protective capabilities of N95 respirator masks often surpass those of regular face masks.
 
N95 masks are intended to be used for protection against solids, such as those from minerals, coal, iron ore, flour, and many other substances. They are extremely durable with a soft and comfortable inner surface; they also have an adjustable nosepiece and secure headstraps to provide a proper fit.
N95 respirators are cleared by the U.S. FDA as medical devices for use by healthcare personnel and are called “surgical N95 respirators.” 
 
FFP1 is the European equivalent of process and have demonstrated that they can filter out a minimum of 95% of airborne particles under worse case test conditions. These products have also been evaluated by the U.S. FDA to have demonstrated an acceptable level of fluid and flame resistance, which may be important in healthcare occupational settings such as hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and surgical suites.
